Privacy Policy

lemy (“we”) runs this website. This page explains what personal data we collect when you buy a label, why, who else sees it, and your choices. Questions: lemy.world@protonmail.com.

What we collect

• Shipment details: sender and recipient names, addresses, phone numbers, optional company and email, and the weight and size of the package.
• Contact details: your email address (required for guest orders and accounts) and, if you create an account, your name and a password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Payment details: the cryptocurrency, amount, payment address and status of your payment. We do not receive card details. We do not need your wallet's private keys and will never ask for them.
• Labels: the PDF we create for you.
• Messages you send us: the name, email address and text you enter in the contact form, so we can reply.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic request data, used to run the service, prevent abuse and rate-limit requests.

Why we use it

• To create, deliver and support your shipment label (to carry out our contract with you).
• To take and check payments, and to keep records we are required to keep.
• To send you emails about your order, such as your private link and when your label is ready.
• To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who receives it

• Fulfilment partners and carriers receive the shipment details needed to create the label and move the parcel.
• Our payment gateway processes cryptocurrency payments.
• Service providers that host our service and database, store label files, and send our emails.
• Address lookup services: to fill in a city or street from a postal code, we send the country and the postal code (and, for the Netherlands, the house number) to a public address service. We do not send names, phone numbers or full addresses.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers are located outside your country, including in the United States. We only share what is needed for them to do their job.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.

How long we keep it

We keep order records, including addresses and labels, for as long as needed to support the order, resolve disputes and meet legal and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your account earlier; we will keep what the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or move it. You can also complain to your data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email lemy.world@protonmail.com. We may need to confirm it is you first.

Security

Label files are stored privately and are only available through your authenticated or private link. Access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your private link and password to yourself.

We will update this page if our practices change and show the date at the top.
